Anyone opposed to the dictatorship of the sound waves or any other way of exploitation and injustice/unfairness, willing to fight may help, even in small actions, as several slender acts will result in a major one. The ones, whom after reading this handbook, decide that they can’t stay silent, are invited to commit themselves immediately in the fight.

Because in any case or circumstances, the industrial harsh punker has to blast the watts.

This handbook comes from the experience and life of a group of men we belong to, in Lorraine, France. We fight with guitars in our hands. Our aim is to recruit as many followers as we can. The term of “sound aggressor” or “music terrorist” does not mean the same anymore. It does not evoke either terror or blame; it brings callings. To be an "activist" in Lorraine nowadays honours the citizen as it means fighting with one’s instruments against the monstrous and miserable dictatorship that are musical supermarkets.

IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, THE HARSH PUNKER MUST:

Find some tools, preferably old or broken machines and divert them from their daily use because in the harsh punker’s hands or in between its ears, anything becomes a weapon and everyone must make its own. Three oil drums are enough to start an sonic aggression…the words of command? The mechanical destruction of the eardrums!

Use enemy’s weapons and means of communication against them, drown official medias, scramble languages, wear a hood inside one’s own head, wear its uniforms in order to hide among them, and at the suitable time, blast the watts like TNT.

Harass the enemy, discouraging him always, everywhere, and to better distract him, know how to remain silent only to reappear further away, where blown up VU meters are.

Spam aggressively, sonically and visually. Give away flyers, use and abuse of the word of mouth, spread rumours, tag, draw graffitis and stick posters…

Not boycott big venues as poison spreads itself faster in crowds. Enjoy festivals (e.g. Noxious Art Festival) as you enjoy your family. Every expression space is allowed: the whole world is a squat without boundaries.

Not hesitate to move battlefields from the stage to the streets: rock venues, like amphitheatres or railway stations, are all strategic spots to unleash the sound. We know it better than our enemies. We hide in the crowd and at the right time, we draw the six strings.

Take public money; divert it from its original use. Every mean will do because our cause is just. INDUSTRIAL HARSH PUNK BIS ZUM TOD !

Never go out without weapons, always carry stickers in your combat trousers’ pockets and stick them everywhere.

Not obey to any sort of hierarchy. The joker becomes king through contempt. Sound is air, altered by saturations, distorted and out of phase, but free, and forever free; so no one can get hold of it.

Find the best sound, spread it by all possible means, copy disks and floppy disks, and tell the others about your caustic discoveries. Names? Beinhaus, Lith, F.Y.D, Ebola, Leech Woman, Jude, White Dolls… The list is long. Everywhere guerilleros create tomorrow’s decibels in the dark.

Act by little groups of 3 or 4; disappear in the crowd, anonymous. And all of a sudden, let your noise bomb blast in the middle of the pedestrians.

Rely on surprise more than number, act day and night, let the anger burst out in decibels. Make sure you choose the best spot and that the loudest noise will be achieved by determined individuals.

Gradually increase audio disturbances by the launching of unforeseen chains of actions and make the enemy focus their attention on one group while the others get through the wall of sound

Work and disappear in the crowd, and reveal yourself only at night when action and tension are at their peak.

demolished our suburbs,
Let us not forget that they have tried everything to make us leave our land, La Lorraine.

We are always here and we know about their activities.
We have in possession the sharp sound of our fathers’ fights.
We will resist for ever and ever.
We will avenge our ancestors memory.
We will destroy their ears.
